Q: When will I find out my teacher and lesson time?
A: Once you complete the checkout process for your initial lesson, our admissions staff will connect you and help you select a teacher. Once a teacher is selected, we will confirm a starting lesson day and time with you.
Q: Do all lessons cost $50 for 30 minutes?
A: No. Teacher's half hour rates range between $42.50-55. Each initial lesson lasts for 30 minutes and costs $50.
Q: Where do lessons take place?
A: Lessons take place at 900 N Michigan Ave on the 6th level. However, there are a limited number of teachers available for in home lessons as well as some satellite locations.
Q: Is there parking available?
A: Parking is available in the 900 self park garage. Students receive a 3 hour parking validation for $15 which drops to $7 after 3pm and on the weekend.
Q: What are the performance opportunities?
A: K-12 students have four All School Recitals and three Festivals throughout the year as well as countless other opportunities. Adults have a biannual Meet, Greet, and Perform recital as well as studio recitals throughout the year.
Q: Are there group class opportunities?
A: Yes! There are group class opportunities for strings if you are enrolled in private lessons. We also have auditioned chamber groups for K-12 students.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: Once a student registers for their first semester there is an annual registration fee of $45 and every year you are enrolled at the start of the Spring Semester.
Q: How are lessons scheduled?
A: Lessons are scheduled between the student and the teacher directly. Teacher's have access to the school 7 days a week.
